Following a successful career in land and property since 1973, John entered the real estate business in 1985 working as a Branch Manager for two local real estate offices and in recent years in residential sales. In 1991 he was admitted as an Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute (AREINZ).
Married to Sandy, they have resided in Taradale for 30 years. Their two sons and daughter attended local Taradale schools then on to University. Hayden and Andrew both graduated from Massey University with degrees in Industrial Product Design, Hayden is now working in London and Andrew in Wellington. Kirstin graduated in 2012 from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours in Art History, and is working in Melbourne.
John is actively involved with Asthma Hawkes Bay as a trustee and has served the last 30 years as a committee member and past President of the Trust.
